Nacimiento

3lindezas
No puedo esperar.

Nephew-ness II (well... niece-ness)

0lindezas
Well, it's October already and it's almost time. Nadia is about to be born and I realized the other day that I'm quite excited about it. I'm gonna be an aunt... I'm gonna have a niece!! It's almost unbelievable. My brother says that the last ultrasound was incredible, that she's gonna be beautiful, but I can't trust him... he's the dad, what else can he say!
I know I'm excited about her being born cause I have already imagined everything we're going to do together in the next 15 years... that leaves quite a margin to think about the following 15 years, I think. But the thing is that she's not even born yet and I'm already thinking about where I am going to take her for her 15 birthday... Do you think it's too much? The Man who Works a Lot says I should relax a little, it's still a long way to go, but I know it's going to feel like I don't spend enough time with her, that there's still a lot to show her, a lot for her to see, to experiment... I guess it's like a second chance to experiment the world.
I suppose the worst thing that could happen is if she turns out to be an idiot (you have to contemplate every possibility). Because that's a huge problem, what if your own children (indirectly for me, in this case) is an idiot, if you can't stand him? There's always the possibility of choke him or eat him with taters, but I've heard it's not the best option in lots of cultures :0( In this case, I always have the option of sending the kid back to her mamma, although it'd be tough anyway.
At first you're always happy with the family you have because you can't do anything about it, pretty much. But then, as you get older, you realize they don't have to be nice people just because they're relatives, you can even think they're way too stupid, even. But then, as you get even older, you realize we all have our share of bad things and we are not necessarily the nicest people to our relatives either. That's what happens with personal relationships (or relationshits, as I heard the other day). The difference between family and other kind of relationship is that you don't choose 'em, they're 'given' to you. And oh, well, it's what's got to be.
But going back to what I was saying, and even though I think we are all born with our little personalities, it's always our parents and our world that shape it. So, parents of the child, please, make the most amazing girl in the world. Please.

Sobrinidad II

0lindezas

Elmo

0lindezas
Well, I'm always writing stuff about Spain so foreign people who read this can catch a glimpse of Spanish culture. But today, I'm gonna do it the other way around.
I don't know if any Spaniards remember the old Sesame Street, the one they showed when I was little, with its nice characters. Back then they still showed Count von Count, Bert and Ernie, Grover and the Cookie Monster. Well, in North America they still show that kind of Sesame Street, more along the lines of what kids need to see in order to learn to count, their abc's and all that stuff. Here, it came a time when Sesame Street started to follow social patterns a little. Big Bird was a female here for some reason, at least at the beginning, but then it had a sex change operation and became a male. And then the other characters started getting more retarded with every episode. Straighting up. In North America there's a character in Sesame Street who's gotten so popular among kids it has its own section. Its name's Elmo and he's kinda like Grover, but red and veeeerryyyyy sweet. He's so, so, so sweet, the instant he speaks you get cavities all over and your face gets all sticky. But, oh yes, he's so very cute.
In order to soothe every infant and to give'em something to hold on to when they go to bed, a toy company has invented "Tickle me Elmo", even though it sounds more like "Cracking up Elmo". I will leave you here with a video for you to laugh for a while. He has a very contagious laughter.

Elmo

5lindezas

The Crocodile Hunter

1 lindezas

Didgeridoo

0lindezas
Never ever had I thought that I would find an instrument that I liked better than any percussion instrument. And it's almost as noisy. Those who know me are aware of my fondness of drums, tambourines and all kinds of noisy and great objects. The only thing I bought for myself in Egypt was 2 pounds of tea and a Nubian tambourine... what a great time we had!
Some time ago somebody gave me a didgeridoo, but I still don't know how to play it. Only recently I just knew how to get out of it the same sound a big boat's horn makes. Every animal in the house runs for cover every time the Titanic departs from the living room. And in the countryside a self-controlled silence falls when all little birds, spooked, await trying to decipher what's that horrible, horrible noise.
Much to my loved ones' regret, whenever I have the opportunity, I start blowing down the hollow artifact in question. I have managed to get more sounds out of it, but I still lack the lung capacity.
For those who don't even know what it is or how it sounds, I leave my favourite sample. Some day I will make it sound like this and then I'll blow your minds in equal parts... sigh!

Didgeridoo

2lindezas
¡ays! (suspiro).

Button

0lindezas
Maybe you've noticed that I've set a button with an email address at the top of the sidebar so you can write to me and ask me stuff.
I have found that button here. Nexodyne, this nice person, has set a button generator whatever your email server may be. In my case, that is Gmail, but you can see there are lots of servers where you can choose from.
As I've taken advantage of this service, I mention it here, so you can all see that you may find all sorts of things in the Internet. You just have to know where to look.
Now, for all of you who don't know how to do it, I'm going to write the piece of HTML that you have to put on your template so you can have the button in your page. You have to put the piece of HTML where you want it to appear within your page. You set that wherever you want your button to appear and you're all set.

Botón

1 lindezas

Me encanta vivir aquí.

Memories

0lindezas

Wow! I'm sorry. I think now you'll have to put up with my pics AND my videos.
I show you this one cause the moment I've seen it, the sweetest memories of my childhood have come. I have grown up with these wonderful series. If you show this now to a 6-7-year-old (the age I was when I used to see this), they'll probably laugh at you or cover you in puke, one of the two... or both.
Although it's certain that not too long ago I saw some of those series I use to watch when I was little and you realize things change. I do not recommend you watching anything you watched as a child, no matter how good the memory is, if you don't want to feel disappointed. In the best-case scenario, you'll find it stupid. We grow so fast!

Recuerdos

1 lindezas
¡Uf!

Sleep

0lindezas
Some time ago, during my third year at University, a classmate and I had to write a paper about sleep. Even thought I've always liked arts better than science because I can't stand maths, I've always considered myself a curious soul and I feel drawn to everything that has to do with science but is not maths.
I think that's one of the reasons why we slip the subject, cause we were supposed to write a paper about a humanities theme (??).
Well, the thing is that when we were writing it, we discovered there's a sleep disorder called 'fatal familial insomnia'. And, as its name says, it's fatal. The brain, as I've heard lots of times, is like a computer, and it stores data during the day. When we sleep, the brain gets rid of all the junk info and it rests, getting ready for the next day. When that doesn't happen, the brain complains. Apparently, nobody can go for more than 11 days without sleeping. You die before that. If you don't believe me, pay attention to House, episode #18. They talk about lack of sleep.
Another curious thing about sleep is that every animal species has its own sleep and wakefulness patterns. As curious but useless fact, I'd tell you that dolphins, as cetaceans or marine mammals, have to get to the water surface to breathe, but they also have to sleep. So, can you think how the wise Mother Nature has solved that? The dolphin's brain sleeps "in chunks", meaning that first one hemisphere of the brain sleeps while the other makes sure that the dolphin gets out to breathe, and then the other way round. Don't you find it just amazing?
We, as animals, have the weirdest sleep patterns of all cause we alter them all the time. First, our brain chose a light and darkness pattern to define the sleep hours. But within that pattern, there are two different kinds of people. In some books its defined as 'owls' and 'larks'.
'Owl type' of people find it very hard to get up early in the morning and feel more comfortable staying awake till late at night. Their peaks of activity begin in the evening, and that's why they're 'out' in the morning.
'Lark type' of people are those who find it super easy to get up early in the morning, but at 10 p.m. are more than ready for bed. Their peak of activity begins midmorning, that's why they don't have any energy at night. Funny, huh?
Well, there's some people who don't believe this, but that's the way it is. If it weren't like that, why is there people who even though they go to bed at a "decent" time at night, they just can't get up in the morning? Exactly.
Now. It just downed on me, if someone can die from insomnia, can you die from sleeping too much? We have already said that extremes aren't good, and everybody knows that you can't make up for lost sleep, but it's so good to be in bed. Could I die from pleasure? and from laziness? I don't know. I'll tell you when I wake up from my nap...

Sueño

0lindezas
No sé.

Fear

0lindezas
I think the cat is getting used to living with us... it was time already, cause it's been more than a year now.
She keeps getting scared of everything. The other day I guess she saw the reflection of an imaginary piece of lint on the mirror and she spent the whole afternoon with a busy tail and her eyes about to pop out. I think she's a schizophrenic and she has persecution complex or something. I don't know and there's no way to know cause some days she's alright and some others she's unbearable.
I don't know what we did wrong in our previous lives, but we're paying it off with this cat. Although sometimes we get revenge...

Miedo

0lindezas

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Well, you just can't imagine how proud of myself I am right now.
I hope you've noticed the design has changed. I did it myself, with the sweat from my forehead and my own hands... yeaaahhh!!!
I'm very happy. I know the important thing about the blog is what I write and not how pretty it looks, but I am learning tons of CSS with this and that's gotta count for something, too.
Well, there it goes my very first design. I don't know if I could do it again...

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

No sé si sabría hacerlo otra vez...

Amazement

0lindezas
I was talking the other to my girlfriend about cultural identity (yeah, what? I can be my own kind of freak) and we realized something. It's something silly which you never think about cause it's like wondering about why the sun comes up in the morning.
We talked about words and their meaning within a cultural context. I'll explain myself.
We, as translators, learn a foreign language and then use it as a work tool. When you learn a foreign language, you learn the words, a few ones that you shouldn't learn, you might even have a favourite one cause you like the sound of it or whatever. But we never think about their "cultural meaning".
All of this was because I watched a Conan show (The late show with Conan O'Brien) in which he went to Finland and went to an underwear exhibition. He asked the guide guy how did they refer to underwear. Did they say "underwear" or "underpants"? When Conan said "underpants", he giggled. He said it reminded him of when he was 8 and he couldn't stop giggling when he heard the word.
Then I wonder, are we aware of that kind of "burden" words have when we speak a foreign language? I guess we do to a certain extent, but there are always words (like that one, cause it's simple and we don't use it regularly) we don't know the "cultural meaning" of.
From there, we passed to more "serious" stuff, like the word "nigga". As far as I could find out, it is only acceptable when one black person uses it to refer to another, but it is not when a white person uses it to refer to a black person.
We concluded then that words "metamorphose". They start as normal, regular words and then, with a turn of fate, they become flying and cutting weapons. An apparently simple word can be very harmful in some situations. But it always depends on who says it and whom says it to. What hurts you can even make me laugh. Which leads me to think, how much can a word you don't care about hurt you? or, how much can a simple and nice word hurt you when somebody uses it viciously?
As a friend of mine says, "words are loaded guns", and that's why I think it's very important learning how to use 'em well.
When you think about something that could guarantee your salvation o that could stop the world from imploding, words don't seem to come too handy. But in the world we live in, we can't stop communicating with each other and we need to know how to use our language for that.
We'll talk some other day about languages in Spain, which is a subject that interests me and enrages me in equal parts.
Till then, I'll leave you thinking about this: Do you use well the words you use? how many times you use a word to hurt or to heal? do words have more power that we think?

Maravillamiento

0lindezas
Me explico.

Nephew-ness

0lindezas
This is going to be my nephew (or niece).
When I got the news, I felt very happy. But when they sent me this... well, everything turned much more - real (so to speak).
I'm gonna have a nephew, my brother is going to be a dad, my parents are going to be grandparents, and everything is gonna change from now on. A baby changes it all. Besides, we will be getting to that point where your children start having their own kids and it seems impossible to deny that they've grown up.
Ever since I saw this pic I've been thinking about the responsabilities I'm gonna have as an aunt. In my auntieness I'm not gonna be responsible for bringing up the kid, but I'm gonna have so much more things to do. I'm gonna have to teach him all those things your parents never teach you or those that they fear to tell you in case you hold it against them for the rest of their lives. The best thing is that his parents will never be able to avoid all the things I'm going to teach him.
I think that with the things I want to teach him and what his grandparents are going to tell him, my brother and sister-in-law are gonna fight a lot with the kid. There's nothing better that to shape up a critical mind.
I'm very happy for my brother, who's always wanted to have kids. And also because he's going to be a loving and caring father. That kid is going to have the best parents possible. I know he's going to be loved, he's going to be the king of the house and his grandparents won't take their hands off of him.
Congratulations everybody. And good luck with the adventure we're getting into.

Sobrinidad

0lindezas

Extremism

0lindezas
Not too long ago, it was thought that only humans were capable of empathy. And that that, besides a superior intelligence, the ability of walking upright, and the ability to speak, was what made us different from animals. Then, they discovered dolphins have that ability too. That means they can get in the other shoes and feel sad or happy if the other is sad or happy, or they may even act clowny if the other is sad, so it cheers up. That, if you think about it, is unbelievable.
From that point, from empathy, I had an idea from something I heard the other day. Someone said that if we were a Palestinian whose house has been destroyed, his father, mother, little brother and pregnant wife have been slaughtered by Israelis, it would be comprehensible if he tied up a bomb around himself and blow himself up to pieces in the public Israeli square (and that anybody in that situation could actually do it).
What happens then? What do you think when somebody, whoever, butchers your family in front of your very eyes? How do you feel when somebody who thinks is beyond good and evil, who thinks he's much better than you, leaves you with no job, home or family? When a country is in a war for whatever reason, situations, circumstances and points of view change for those who are involved. But let's think about it from the perspective of someone like us, who lives fairly well, has food on his table everyday, makes a living and pretty much only worries about what interest rate has its mortgage.
Couldn't we imagine, remotely, that person's frustrations? Couldn't we feel that same desire of revenge? Because sometimes we may think that they do it because of something bigger, more important, in behalf of a god who's promised them a better life. But in fact they're just seeking revenge, they feel they don't have anything else to lose, they may even hope that that little thing mean something, make things change.
Well, I wonder with the culture we have (at least in Spain), with the values our parents have taught us, what would happen if we were the girlfriend or wife of that person that's gonna tie up a bomb around his body and blow himself up? How would we feel? Would we try to stop him? Would we think he's a hero or a martyr? What would happen if, after doing something like that, his outrageous act didn't have any effect whatsoever on anybody but you?
I know it's a tricky subject and I'm pretty sure nobody, at least none of us, who live in houses, safe in our negotiating country, paying our mortgages and buying stuff we don't need, would want to think about what would that person feel, or about the suffering of others or, even less, consider whether we would do the same, even though it's something dreadful.
The very same word indicates you have to go to the end, to the extreme, and we all know extremes aren't good. But if we link that to something closer to us (only because we all know someone who knows someone who's been victim of a terrorist act), let's think about (even though the path taken here has been totally different and the situation is not even close as to the Israeli-Palestinian problem. But let's just think about the violent part of it) how many times those victims might have thought of taking vengeance at some point. It's in our nature. We are aggresive, we have violence within ourselves, and even though we may consider ourselves very peaceful, I think we would never know for sure what our reaction would be if something extreme happened to us. Let's hope that doesn't happen...

Extremismo

0lindezas

-------------------
We went to watch V for Vendetta the other day. I know it's based on a comic book, but as my comic culture is basically non-existent, I can't say a thing about whether the adaptation was good or not. Even though, I have read some reviews from people who does know the comic book and I understood they, apart from a few minor changes, have kept the whole idea.
The film is produced and written by the Wachowsky brothers, the ones who wrote and directed the Matrix trilogy. Many people say there's a before and an after the Matrix trilogy, not only as far as movies are concerned, but as a philosophy. I won't talk here about what lies beneath Matrix, but I would like to say a few things about V for Vendetta, where you can feel their "touch".
For those who haven't seen it, and with no spoilers, I would say it's based on November, 5th 1605, when Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London as a way to protest against the treatment Catholics received in England back then. Although it's based on that, this story happens in what I think is a near future, in which shortage of food is an acute problem and a dictator has seized power in England. V tries to open people's eyes so they see what's happening around and for them to do something about it. In this case, Guy Fawkes is an inspiring idea, a symbol V takes to tell people that blowing up the Houses of Parliament would only be a way to move against the dictatorial ways of the sovereignty.
I was surprised by the aesthetics of the presidential campaign. It look awfully similar to Hitler's campaign before the nazi Germany, and by some references to the politics of that "president". They talk about the culture of fear. About the participation of the government on a terrorist attack against the people, so they feel fear and they think they "need" the government to protect them from that alleged peril. About the illegal tapping from the government,... they even talk about a terrorist attack in a subway tunnel... in London.
I don't know, if you analise the whole aesthetics, the references, the similarities, every little detail, you can take out their opinion about their own government. Now I'm no fan of the American Government, and I totally agree with a lot of stuff that is said in the movie, but I also think that power is a very dangerous thing. You can intoxicate with it, so being the president of a country or even a sad supermarket manager can make you act as if you were totally wasted (no pun intended).
Personally, I think that the difference between the American government and any other government is that the American is dangerous. They proved it by far with the war in Iraq. It scared the holy living shit outta me when That Stupid Man said he was going to attack Iraq and he didn't care about what the rest of the world did or said, he got in there anyway. That is very scary. If That Stupid Man decides to test his nuclear weapons in Iran, let's see who's the one to tell him to look it up in a map first, just so he doesn't bomb us by mistake. I'm sure we would be "collateral damage".

Un año

1 lindezas

Discovery

0lindezas
I don't have much free time lately, as you may have seen, but I'm trying to get some progress done. Now I'm trying to figure out how to set up categories within the blog so you can surf easier through it, besides the ol' monthly archive.
I haven't got anything yet cause the stuff I've found doesn't work as I'd like (that's the other glitch. Doesn't it have to work properly, it does have to work for ME, obviously). Instead, you see I've added a new gadget so you can see my pics in Flickr.
Well, this post was to tell you that whenever I set up categories, I will have one dedicated to discoveries. They may be new interesting pages or stuff about all those things that you may classify as 'useless knowledge'.
This week I have discovered two of those pages... well, actually is one with two parts. The page is called "Curioso pero inútil" (sorry, it's only in Spanish), and its sister "Curioso pero de letras". They're two pages about all those things I like, curious things that are completely useless. Those things that never help you in life but they make you understand the world better and, why not? give you subject to talk about.
Well, they're there and I recommend you check 'em out.

Descubrimiento

1 lindezas

This week at class we're talking about all the resources that can be found in the Internet and, among the search engines, I've mentioned Technorati.
I must admit that I didn't know anything about it until I read something in Kirai's blog some time ago, because it is where he is working right now. Last week he wrote this entry in his blog about Technorati and I found it very interesting. So, go and check it out so you can learn some more about all the new stuff that's going on in the Internet.
Enjoy it, hoy!

History

0lindezas
Ook, ook, I know I said in my last post I was going to try and update the blog at least once a week, but I just can't find the time. Besides, I'm going through a non-creative phase, but that has material enough to write another post altogether...
I want to talk about something else in this post, about a piece of news, about history.
I'd thought about it some other time, but today is ONE OF THOSE DAYS. I know I'm talking gibberish here, but I'll explain now.
One day, September 11th, 2001 specifically, I was in Whistler, Canada, when I saw on tv how the second plane crashed into one of the World Trade Center towers and a little later, they collapsed. I remember the smoke and the hole the other plane had caused to the other tower and I remember I said, "Wow! How are the firemen gonna get all the way up there?". A few seconds later, the second plane crashed into the tower and I, in that precise moment, realized I was witnessing the history of the world. We could never erase that from the annals of history. How many people have witnessed a historical fact in their lives? How many people can say they have lived a moment that has changed the course of life as they knew it? I find it overwhelming. In that moment of realization you really feel you're part of the world. You realize that even though you may feel you don't share the same roots as the rest of the human species, you have to admit you belong to it.
Well, today that happened to me again. Surprisingly, in these times when young people is apathetic, unmotivated, unwilling to do anything, without anything to fight for, I have witnessed again a chapter of the History of the World. When my children or grandchildren (!!!) come to me for an explanation of whatever it says on their history textbooks, I will be able to tell them "I was there" or "I was doing this and that when that happened".
Today, my dear friends, the Spanish terrorist group ETA has communicated they are doing a "permanent ceasefire". I know lots of people aren't convinced at all. In fact, the first thing I've said was "what for? so they can rearm again?". But oh well, it looks like there's no going back; we'll see. This is a huge thing in the history of Spain. This people have been stricking fear into people's hearts for a very long time, longer than I have been in this world, and that's a lot. When mister Bush cried for the terrorist act on the twin towers, we had been crying for the victims of ETA for many years. The fact that this people has said on tv that they're not going to do it again is very important. I'm sure it has a lot more depth and angles to it than I could give it or even imagine, and more to the people living in the Basque Country, but I can only say one thing: IT WAS TIME.
So, from this humble blog, I congratulate all Spaniards and those who have spent their lives fighting for freedom.

Historia

0lindezas
Me parece impresionante.

Miss Ignorance Poopalot

0lindezas
Once upon a time, there was a moustachy lady called Miss Ignorance Poopalot. This good woman had a very simple and basic rutine. In the morning, as soon as the sun poke down the corner of the window, she streched her muscles, washed her face and sang. She sang anything that came to her mind in that moment, although the real problem was that she performed her tunes so loudly, she woke up every neighbour in the building. Then, when she had made sure there wasn't any neighbour left to be awaken, she went to get breakfast. Oh, how she loved breakfast! She loved it more than anything in the world, much much more than washing her face, singing or waking up the neighbours. As soon as she sat at the bowl, with all those crunchy cereals, she got so happy, she hummed while eating.
When all the cereals were gone, she liked looking out the window for a long time, so she could find out about the things that went on the neighbourhood. She sat at the window, very still and quiet, until she decided she had found out what she needed to know. Then, a little nap, which is always welcomed, to recover her strength.
Miss Ignorance had some friends, although sometimes she didn't feel like seeing them or talking to them. Her friends didn't like that and they asked her a million questions to see if she was ok and why she didn't want to be with them. That bothered her more, and then she asked heaven to take her or her pest friends. Miss Poopalot looked up, rolled her eyes and showed that face some people show when they don't want to be with the people they're with but they cannot leave, or that face when you really need to go to the restroom but you cannot be excused. Well, Miss Ignorance Poopalot ended up having to make up to her friends every day so they kept being her friends. What a terrible task! Sometimes they got so mad at her they didn't want to talk to her for days, but at the end they always forgave her and kept visiting her.
When she had spent all her strength in reconciliation, she had to take another nap... having friends is very tiring, they need so much attention!
At night, she ate some more and then it was time already to go to bed. Miss Ignorance thought the day passed by so fast, but she always went to sleep looking forward the next day so she could have breakfast again...
See you next time!

Doña Ignorancia Púpalot

0lindezas

Meme

0lindezas
Well, as I don't have much free time lately, I've decided to give in to the Internet's foolish things and write my own meme. Maybe you're wondering what that is, but don't you worry, you're about to find out. It's silly...

4 jobs I've had
-My very first job was as a secretary. I was scared as hell (hehe, that's very funny me mentioning it cause it was at a Vicary) cause I didn't even know how to use the phone. I kept charging the wrong amount for like 2 months.
-My second job was as a translator, but it was kind of a mess.
-Then there's the ski school sales job in Canada. That's been the very best, just equal with the one I have right now.
-And, finally, my actual job as a translator. But you all know about this one.

4 movies I can watch over and over
-Let's see. The one movie I've seen like a thousand times is Dead Poets Society. A friend of mine and I watched it till boredom cause we were in love with the whole cast.
-Then, there has to be The Fifth Element. There's when I discovered Milla Jovovich. I think she's hot.
-Finding Nemo. I know the dialogs by heart. I feel soo identified with Dory. My memory is kinda fishy, too.
-And Amelie. I haven't seen it that much, but I love it.

4 places I've lived
-I've lived in the countryside, in the middle of nowhere. It's a haven of peace. Still go there to think... and visit my folks, hehehehe.
-Then Salamanca, my home for 4 years, a whole life.
-Whistler, Canada. It sheltered me during the most amazing time in my life. I learnt so much there. Including snowboarding (YEAH!).
-And Madrid, my city, my place. I'll always be here somehow.

4 tv shows I love
-I love CSI, but the true one, CSI Las Vegas. I don't like the other two. I hate Horatio.
-The Tonight show with Jay Leno. It's just become a part of my daily life.
-ER. Good ER.
-And Friends, the one and only, even though it's over now. I keep watching the revivals.

4 places I've vacationed
-Up north of Spain. It's always a good place to go. Satisfaction guaranteed.
-England. It's nice for a while.
-French Britain. With my parents. Lots of rain. Lots of food. Nice people (!!!), being French, that is.
-The Pyrenees. That's where I first saw snow. It's gotta count for something!

4 of my favourite dishes
-Cuban rice. I don't even know if that exists in the English culture. It's white rice with fried eggs, sausages, sometimes fried banana and tomato sauce.
-Shushi.
-Lentils. I know this sounds kinda stupid, but it is so. It is a Spanish delicacy.
-Chicken in all its forms.

4 sites I visit daily
-Un geek en Japón
-Dooce
-Photosmax
-Un taxi la nuit

4 places I would rather be right now
-On a walk through the streets of Madrid.
-At the beach (up north).
-Snowboarding in Whistler.
-In bed, sleeping.

4 songs I never get tired of listening to
-Cupid de Locke, Smashing Pumpkins.
-Lazy bones, Thicke.
-Soul suckers, Amos Lee.
-Faint, Linkin Park.

Meme

0lindezas

4 trabajos que he tenido

-"Buscando a Nemo". Me sé los diálogos de memoria. Me siento muy identificada con Dory. También tengo memoria de pez.
-Y "Amelie".

Siempre vuelvo allí a pensar... y a ver a mis padres, jejejeje.

Odio a Horatio.
-The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

-Shushi.
-Lentejas.
-El pollo en todas sus formas.

4 páginas que visito todos los días
-Un geek en Japón
-Dooce
-Chase me, ladies

-Lazy bones, Thicke.
-Soul suckers, Amos Lee.
-Faint, Linkin Park.
